About five minutes, one person, no tools. Unzip the compression bag, unroll each module, and zip them together. There's nothing to screw, bolt or lift into place.

Because it ships compressed. The foam needs up to 72 hours to fully expand and reach its final softness. Firm on day one is normal and expected, it's not a fault, and it doesn't need breaking in beyond that.
